Meet Our Director, Bailey Cox
Hello Friends! My name is Bailey Cox. I have been in childcare for almost 8 years where I’ve established a great love and passion for the world of education. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina. I am a passionate educator who has learned that the baseline for a life of learning begins in the walls of preschool.
When I am not working, I devote my time to volunteering at my church or relaxing on our small family farm with my husband and our two dogs! My greatest hobby is taking care of my garden and raising chickens. I promise, these are always great conversation starters!
I am very thankful to be a part of the Sunshine House team, and I will continue to reach for the stars! "Adventure is Out there!"
Meet Our Assistant Director, Kaitlynn McCollister
Hello! My name is Kaitlynn McCollister. I have over 10 years of experience as an early childhood educator, and I am so excited to start my first year as an administrator. I earned an associate degree in Early Care and Education and a certificate in Early Childhood Development. I also have held a membership for NAEYC and SCAEYC since 2020.
At home I have my hands full with my beautiful daughter and amazing fiancé. We all enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, going to the lake, and enjoying parks. Our weekends are normally filled with Girl Scouts and family time.
I strive towards providing a safe and fun environment for little ones to learn in. I have loved working as a teacher at The Sunshine House and cannot wait to create new connections in this role and grow along with the other staff.
