Meet Our Center Director, Kindra Carroll
Hi, I’m Kindra Carroll, Center Director at The Sunshine House on Grace Street in Greenwood, SC. My passion for Early Childhood Education started when I was a little girl, playing school with my friends.
I’ve been working with children since 1994, beginning at the Greenwood County Career Center where I earned my CDA. I love watching children learn, grow, and prepare for the future.
I’ve been with The Sunshine House for more than 10 years, starting as a floater, then teaching 3- and 4-year-olds, and eventually becoming Assistant Director. After a brief time away, I returned because I missed the Sunshine House family. Now, as Center Director, I’m excited for the growth ahead for our school.
Meet Our Assistant Director, Jessica Sinkovics
I’m Jessica Sinkovics, Assistant Director at The Sunshine House on Grace Street. With a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies, I’ve been working with children since 2016, focusing on home visits for kids from birth to age 5. These experiences have fueled my creativity in activity planning.
I joined The Sunshine House in 2022 as the Preschool 2 teacher, where I enjoyed using the Creative Curriculum and seeing each child grow in their own unique way. I’m grateful for the opportunity to now serve as Assistant Director and continue to grow with the company.
