Meet Our Director, Carrie Acree
Hello! My name is Carrie Acree. I have more than 27 years of experience as a teacher and child development administrator. I love children and absolutely love what I do.
I am overly blessed with five amazing children and one wonderful grandson. My children range from the ages 3 to 25 years old, and my grandson is also 3 years old. I recently moved to Simpsonville from Miami, Florida, but I was raised in Illinois. I can’t wait to see what South Carolina has to offer.
I am excited and dedicated to continuing the growth of this school. I enjoy working with all the staff, children, and families here. I look forward to creating relationships with those in the Taylors, SC area.
Meet Our Assistant Director, Alexis Bilodeau
Hi! My name is Alexis Bilodeau. I have been teaching for 4 years, and my education journey began in New Hampshire, where I was born and raised. My boyfriend and I moved to South Carolina back in 2022. Soon after, we adopted our fur baby Koda, a husky-shepherd mix who we absolutely adore.
I started at The Sunshine House as the Lead Preschool Teacher, then became the Lead Toddler Teacher. Shortly after, I became the Assistant Director! I am beyond excited to help this school continue to grow and watch your babies grow into such smart children!
