Meet Our Director, Sherri McPherson
Hello! My name is Sherri McPherson. I have more than 30 years of experience as a K-5 teacher and leader in elementary education. I earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science. I am excited to share my expertise in education and learn some new skills in the early childhood setting.
I am truly blessed with five beautiful children and four adorable grandchildren. Our children and their families are spread out across the country. One lives here, one in Tennessee, and three in California. My husband and I are enjoying our empty nest years but really look forward to times when the kids all get to visit! My husband and I enjoy the beach, camping, and exploring new places.
I am new to South Carolina but am excited to be a part of Sunshine House and serve our families.
