Meet Our Director, Becca Glover
Hello, I'm Becca Glover, the Center Director at The Sunshine House on Lawndale Drive, near The Fresh Market in Greensboro. I've spent more than 30 years in early education, working in various roles across Virginia, Kentucky, Illinois, and North Carolina. I also have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I enjoy the dynamic environment of working with children, staff, and families. In my free time, I love spending time with my two boys, who are active in school sports, and enjoying the beach and mountains.
Meet Our Assistant Director, Rene Hicks
Hi, I’m Rene Hicks, Assistant Director at The Sunshine House. With 13 years of experience in early childhood, including as a lead teacher across all age groups, and more than a year in administration, I’m passionate about supporting children’s growth. I earned my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood from Forsyth Technical Community College in 2021 and plan to pursue my bachelor’s degree soon.
I have two wonderful children who keep me busy with trips, bike rides, and creative activities like painting and drawing. My kids inspired me to pursue childcare, and I love learning alongside them. Seeing the world through a child’s eyes reminds me of what truly matters.
