Meet Our Director, Asia Goodson
Hi, I’m Asia Goodson! With more than 7 years in childcare, I hold a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Special Education and Early Childhood Education from Lander University, plus a Minor in Dance. I plan to pursue a Master’s in Early Childhood Education.
I have two beautiful daughters, Hayden and Houston, and my third daughter, a Pitt/Boxer mix named Star. My daughters keep me on my toes. In my free time I spend my time with them making new memories.
Growing up helping my grandmother with her daycare in Charleston, SC, I always dreamed of owning my own center. I’m proud to have achieved that dream with The Sunshine House, a place I’m honored to be a part of!
Meet Our Assistant Director, Bridget Carr
Hello! I'm Bridget Michele Carr. I have 26 years of experience as a teacher and 6 years as an administrator. I started in 1996 as a 4K teacher, and have since taught various age groups, including 3- and 5-year-olds, as well as school-age children.Â
I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and am working toward my Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.
In my free time, I love traveling with family, watching TV, and attending church. What I enjoy most about working with children is watching them grow into confident, independent learners.
