Voted Best Child Care in Mount Pleasant!
Meet the Director, Jo-Ann Holly
Hi, my name is Jo-Ann Holly. I am the Director of The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy in Park West, Mount Pleasant, SC. I have been with The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy since February, 2003 when the Park West Center opened. I started at this Center as an infant room teacher then became the Assistant Director and now I am the Center Director.
I have a wonderful husband, Gus, who I have been married to for 34 years after meeting in High School. We have three awesome boys whose names are, Tucker, Alex, and Max. Max is married to his college sweetheart, Lesley and they live in North Carolina where they went to college. They have blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter, Grace, who will be four in April 2017, and a handsome grandson, Eason, who will be one in June 2017.
I love being at The Sunshine House in Park West. After many years of living up North in Mystic, Connecticut, where we owned our own business, we decided to move to Pawley’s Island, SC, for my husband’s new job. From there we moved to Mount Pleasant, SC. We were one of the first families to move into Park West. We enjoy the neighborhood and I thoroughly enjoy watching the children at the Center grow from 6 weeks to 12 years old. I love being a part of The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy. I enjoy helping and being a part of the children and parents lives at school here and in the community.
I enjoy watching soccer, which all three of our boys played and going to the beach with the family. A new favorite for my husband and I is going to North Carolina to spend time with our grandchildren. Grandchildren are the best!
