Hi, I’m Jamanda! I’ve been part of The Sunshine House since 2024. Over my 8+ years in childcare, I’ve worn many hats, from Lead Teacher and Floater to Assistant Director and now Center Director. My love for working with children began while growing up around my parents’ work in youth ministry, where I saw how much a fun, encouraging environment can mean to a child.
I’m a proud UNC Greensboro graduate with a degree in Entrepreneurship. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist, a children’s book author and illustrator, and currently pursuing my master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy in Early Childhood at UNC Wilmington.
Outside of work and school, you’ll often find me working on my next book, trying a new hairstyle, decorating, or listening to ’90s R&B. I love spending time with the people I love, and I’m always dreaming up my next creative project!
Hi, I’m Anthony Stallings! I’ve worked in early childhood education for more than 9 years and joined The Sunshine House in 2025. I’ve served as Assistant Director for over a year, with previous experience as a Lead Teacher in preschool and school-age classrooms. I believe early childhood education is a calling, and I enjoy making a difference in children’s lives every day.
I hold associate degrees in Early Childhood Education and Applied Arts, and I’m currently working toward my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Mount Olive. I also proudly served in the United States Coast Guard for two and a half years before receiving an honorable discharge.
I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Marie, and our three children, along with our two dogs, Lady and Shredder. We love relaxing at home, watching movies, and visiting the coast of Southport.
