My name is Angela Agurs and I have been in child care for 17 years. At one point in my life I thought I wanted to become a nurse, but I just couldn't stay away from preschool! I love what I do and the mission of The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, and attending church.
Since the time I was a toddler until I was 11 or 12 years old, I was a Sunshine House kid. So, it only seemed right for my own child to experience the wonderful, unique atmosphere that is the Sunshine House. He has learned so many new things in just a short 5 months to include: ABC's, numbers 1-10 and some teens, colors, shapes and sharing with others. They have a very easy going environment and always have made my child feel welcomed. I most definitely recommend The Sunshine House learning center to any new/experienced parents.
Most "day cares" are just a place that your kids can keep busy while you're away at work or some thing but The Sunshine House cares about your child on an intellectual level. My son will probably attend this location until he ages out. As far as the staff, I feel 100% confident that my child is SAFE and well cared for.
