Meet Our Director, Tae Dixon
Hi, I'm Tae Dixon. My journey with Sunshine House began in 2000 as a student here, and I’m excited to return in a leadership role. My daughter is currently enrolled, and it’s been rewarding to watch her grow in a nurturing environment.
Before becoming Center Director, I was the Program Manager, which helped me gain valuable experience. I also taught in the public school system, working with students from kindergarten through sixth grade, which gave me a strong foundation in education.
I hold a bachelor’s in criminal justice from East Carolina University, a master’s in elementary education from UNC Pembroke, and I’m working on a double master’s in leadership, policy, and advocacy in early childhood from UNC Wilmington. I’m excited to bring my passion for early childhood education to Sunshine House and help create a positive, enriching environment for our community.
