Meet Our Director, April Sullivan
My name is April Sullivan. I have more than 22 years of experience in early education and have been with The Sunshine House since 2009. I earned my Child Care Management Credential from Greenville Technical College in 2014.
I was born and raised in the upstate. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 20+ years and we have two children and a beautiful granddaughter who we adore. We enjoy spending time with my family hunting and fishing or at the beach.
One of the most rewarding experiences in my position is to build a co-parenting relationship with our families to help shape well-rounded children. I enjoy having fun with our families, children, and staff to ensure that children are always engaged in a positive and loving home-like environment.

Meet Our Assistant Director, Hailey Rochester
Hello, my name is Hailey Rochester. I have five years of experience as a teacher and now the Assistant Director. I have two young daughters, and life is never dull between school, work, swim, and gymnastics lessons.
I started out as a parent at the Sunshine House and realized what a great family atmosphere it was. The staff was so friendly, I knew I wanted to come aboard. As a former veterinary technician, I never thought I could love another field of work, but here I am more than five years later and have loved every second of it.
I hope to provide a close family atmosphere with all of the staff and families.

Yes! We provide nutritious and nourishing meals daily, including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack—all planned by a licensed nutritionist. Vegetarian options are always available, and meals are included in tuition at no extra cost.
We take food allergies and dietary restrictions seriously. If your child has specific nutritional needs, please let us know, and we’ll work with your family to create a safe and suitable meal plan.
Communication is important! With the MySunshineHouse app, you’ll receive updates on your child’s activities, meals, naps, and diaper changes—plus photos and videos! We also offer family-teacher conferences and are always happy to chat in person or by phone about your child’s progress.

Daycare tuition is all-inclusive and includes daily meals, curriculum instruction and activities, Spanish, sign language, and literacy and character development programs. Our afterschool program includes transportation from school to the center each afternoon.
