The Sunshine House has been helping children learn, grow, and thrive since 1975.
Our story began in Greenwood, South Carolina, when two public school teachers struggled to find the high-quality early care and education they wanted for their young daughter. So, they decided to create it themselves.
Their vision was simple but meaningful: to create a place where children would feel safe and loved while building the skills and confidence they need for a bright future.
That vision became the very first Sunshine House.
