The Ahmed family’s story:

familysamirbday“We don’t use the word ‘family’ lightly here. That’s what you were to us for 9 wonderful years. You looked after not one, not two, but three of our kids. You taught them the basics and you showered them with love. There was never a moment when we ever questioned whether they were in good hands. They were in the best hands. We could go on and on and on about the wonderful, dedicated, caring teachers who helped rear our three children into loving, inquisitive, social beings. You laid the foundation for their future and the foundation is solid.”

Kristen and Jayse Meyers

The Meyers family has been with The Sunshine House since their son, Jayse, was 18 months old! Now 8, Jayse’s mom says her son has made lasting friendships in the 7 years he’s been at The Sunshine House. And she’s gotten to know many other families. That’s part of the family atmosphere she and Jayse enjoy about their Sunshine House school.

“At The Sunshine House, I know he’s taken care of. I know they are going to do everything in their power to keep him safe and happy. I love them! They have been very good to me and to my son. I recommend them to everyone!”

The Kolesky family’s story:Kolesky Family

“Ms. Pam and the wonderful staff at The Sunshine House in Decatur have been taking care of our children for over 10 years! Our three boys each started as infants and moved all the way through the Pre-K program. We couldn’t be happier with the care they have received there and they have graduated more than ready for kindergarten.”

The Lantz family’s story:

Beth and Lily
Beth and Lily Lantz

“We dropped Lily off when she was 5 months old. I thought it would be the hardest day of my life, when I left my child with strangers. But I walked in, Mrs. Joanne met me at the door, and walked me to Lily’s class.  With tears in my eyes, I handed my baby off.  All of the sudden a sense of peace came over me. I dried my eyes, kissed my baby bye, and walked out the door.  I felt like I was leaving her with grandparents and/or family.  It has been this way every day.”
