Meet the Director, Brenda Berry

My name is Brenda Berry, and I have been in early child care for almost 14 years. I started out in the infant room and was later promoted to assistant director, and shortly after director. I started my career at the center where my grandchildren attended until they aged out.

I'm the mother of one daughter, grandmother of two, and the great-grandmother of a toddler. I enjoy spending time with my family.

I would like to feel that out of all of these years that I have spent with all of my families, somewhere in time I touched someone or some child.

  • I have always enjoyed my child going to The Sunshine House. I am extremely impressed as of late with the professionalism, with the teachers and the School Administrator! Thank you for all that you do!

  • I have seen my children grow and prosper radiantly in the last two months. I am so glad I chose The Sunshine House. I am so blessed and thankful to have my children in your hands.

    -Lisa B.

  • The Sunshine House works for your children. They care about them as if they were their own. I am not sure I’ve ever seen anything quite like this.

    -Kym D.

  • Is it normal to feel guilty and miss your kids every day you are away from them when you work a full time, Monday-Friday job? That said, I couldn't think of a better place for them to be, because you and your staff treat all the kids as if they were your own. So thank you and I guess I should be grateful when they go to bed at night telling me how much they love all of their teachers and their friends... Let alone be grateful for the amazing gains they both have made.

    -Sara
