Meet Our Director, Connie Wilkins-Ruff

Hello! My name is Connie Wilkins-Ruff. I have enjoyed being the Center Director at Sunshine House of Greeley since July of 2014. I have been a Director for 22 years and have worked in childcare since 1980. I earned my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis in Leadership.

The best part of my job is to meet and be greeted by our families and children each day. The smiles and hugs are the fuel for my continued enthusiasm. It is wonderful to be a part of a fantastic team of staff. I am thankful for the advancements in the world of early learning. During challenges, pandemics, and day to day life scenarios, the children have proven to be resilient. The children without effort project happiness throughout each day no matter the challenge that lays ahead. Our early learners can learn through discovery, invitation, and investigations of play.

I am a very proud mother of three sons, and two daughters-in-law. My granddaughter and grandson add complete joy to our lives. In my free time, I spend time with two big dogs, travel, sew and garden. The highlight of my life is spending time with my family and being together on adventures.

It is the best job in the world to be "able to play" with awesome kids every day! It is great to be at the Sunshine House in Greeley, Colorado!
