The standards we set for our directors, teachers and supporting staff go well beyond those required for our state childcare licenses. Teachers at The Sunshine House are expected to continue their professional growth and development by participating in educational and advanced certification programs designed to keep them at the forefront of new methods in early education and childhood development. In addition to their professional qualifications, our teachers are chosen based on their character, creativity and capacity for patience and caring.
BEST Professional Development Program:
The BEST professional development program offers our staff an opportunity to continue their education in childhood development and teaching. BEST participants are instructed in a progressive, self-paced 12 month program covering four key areas: client relations, curriculum, health & safety and continuing education. The BEST program is offered to our team as a commitment to their careers, teaching skills and to the development of your child.
